Most of you know Khloie’s story, but some of you may not. Khloie was involved in an MVA on Sunday, January 12, 2025 where she was entrapped in the vehicle and her neck was impaled by a tree limb. There were other obstacles that arose during her time at Vanderbilt, and they even called the family in at one point. The doctors had given up hope, but we never gave up because we knew God had bigger plans for Khloie. She was transferred to CHOA in March to start rehab. The family came home for the first time on Friday for a week so Khloie could participate in end-of-year school activities. She will be leaving for the more intense outpatient rehab on May 25, and we’re guessing this will last a few months. The first responders from WCFD, Hamilton EMS, and Life Force who responded the night of the accident got to welcome Khloie home with a special meeting yesterday. So many emotions were felt in this beautiful reunion. News Channels 3, 9, and 12 covered this special reunion, and we’re so thankful for their time. ❤️
The family has a GoFundMe account, and their initial goal has almost been met. I’m asking you to look past that initial goal because there is still a need. There was unexpected hotel expenses and eating out 3 times a day on top of regular monthly bills. McKenzie is a single mother and has been out of work since that January night caring for her daughter through this tragedy.
